Don’t defer your DNS upgrade to BIND 9; the time is now!

Plus, there are many benefits BIND 9 offers over BIND 8, including improved security, views, IPv6 support and better DNS protocol compliance. Nevertheless, there are key trade-offs related to features, performance and security vulnerabilities that need to be assessed in order to determine the best upgrade approach for your network.
